It is a pleasure to announce that Gordon Drake of the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, will be taking on the senior Editorship of Physical Review A. Gordon has served on the editorial boards of both PRA and PRL, and as an Associate Editor of PRA, and he has a strong reputation as an accomplished scientist in the field of atomic physics. With his location in Windsor, Gordon will become our second senior journal Editor based (although just barely, in this case) outside the United States. Gordon was recommended from among a number of very distinguished nominees by a search committee chaired by Ron Walsworth of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
