Announcement: Bernd Crasemann Retires (March 1, 2006)

Bernd Crasemann of the University of Oregon is retiring from the senior Editorship of Physical Review A. Bernd has been leading PRA since January of 1992, a full 14 years. During his tenure the journal grew substantially, continued to build its reputation as a leading journal in atomic, molecular, and optical physics, and made the transition to online publication and the electronic editorial system. Bernd has been known for his high standards and inspirational leadership, which leave Physical Review A in its strong position.
