Announcement: Physical Review Letters to Process MS Word Manuscripts (July 29, 2002)

Physical Review Letters will now process manuscripts prepared in Microsoft Word and submitted electronically. Manuscripts submitted in this format will be eligible for the page charge discount given to REVTeX manuscripts. Full details regarding procedures for preparation and submittal of Microsoft Word manuscripts that would qualify for the discount are available from our electronic submissions web page, http://authors.aps.org/ESUB/ [1]. At present, only Physical Review Letters and Physical Review Special Topics - Accelerators and Beams are able to utilize Microsoft Word files. The other journals of the American Physical Society plan to offer this service in the near future.
