A 67, 012508 (2003) [5 pages]Wavelength measurement of the prominent M1 transition in the ground state of Ti-like Pt, Au, and Tl ionsReceived 29 July 2002; published 29 January 2003 Using a high-efficiency, transmission grating spectrometer at an electron-beam ion trap, the 3s23p63d4 J=2–3 transition in the ground configuration of the Ti-like ions Pt56+, Au57+, and Tl59+ was measured.
