A 66, 032505 (2002) [6 pages]Electric dipole and quadrupole transition amplitudes for Ba+ using the relativistic coupled-cluster methodReceived 13 November 2001; revised 7 June 2002; published 27 September 2002 We present our calculations of the electric dipole and quadrupole matrix elements for transitions between low-lying bound states of Ba+ that are relevant for parity nonconservation studies using the relativistic coupled-cluster method. The results compare well with the experimental data.
