Phys. Rev. A 64, 054703 (2001) [4 pages]Electron–hydrogen-atom ionization study of a hyperspherical partial-wave ab initio approach for equal-energy-sharing constant-Θ12 geometryReceived 9 February 2001; published 18 October 2001 Some results for equal-energy-sharing constant-Θ12 geometry electron-hydrogen-atom ionization collisions, calculated in a hyperspherical partial wave-approach, including coupling effects, at 30 eV energy, are reported here. Inclusion of the coupling effects reduces the cross-section values dramatically to the desired level. The results are comparable with those of two most recent respectable calculations, the convergent close-coupling and the ECS calculations. © 2001 The American Physical Society URL:
