The close-coupling method is applied to the Ps- system. The scattering phase shifts of e-+Ps scatterings and the photodetachment cross sections of Ps- are calculated below the first excitation threshold. The scattering equations are solved using a B-spline method. Well converged phase shifts are obtained for s-, p- and d-orbital expansions. The photodetachment cross sections are in good convergence and are nearly gauge invariant.
