In this paper, we present a particle-cluster model for fractal aggregation. Using the current model, we investigate the properties of fractal aggregation in two dimensions in external fields and propose an argument on the threshold value in fractal aggregation. Our computer-simulation results show that the threshold value concentration is Pca=0.83±0.03 and fractal dimension Dc=1.67±0.07 at this concentration, which is in good agreement with experimental results.
